Safari Surf Vacations will send you your package details and pricing within 24 hours via email.  (If any inclusive activity is not available due to season or weather, an additional activity may be selected from the list below)

Excursions List

  • (2) Surfing lessons with all equipment provided by Safari Surf School
  • Canopy Tour/Zip Line (1/2 day – Miss Sky Canopy Tour)
  • Horseback Riding (2-2 ½ hr tour – beaches/jungle)
  • Kayaking – Graceful & Peaceful (1/2 Day – Ocean or River)
  • Nosara Biological Reserve guided tour (2hr. – 2 person min.)
  • Waterfall Hike – Nature & Bird watching - La Mala Noche Waterfall (1/2 Day – 3 person min.)
  • Olive Ridley Sea Turtles – Ostional Black Sand beach
    (Sunrise or Moonlight visit, July through November, weather permitting)
  • Snorkeling along Coral Reefs via boat (1/2 day – 4 person min.)
  • Wildlife Rio Nosara Boat Tour (1/2 day, High Tide required – 2 person min.)
  • Picnic Basket Amor with Wine & ATV Rental to explore Beaches and Nature (Full day)
  • Ultra Light Air Tour over Nosara Beaches (20 min, One Person at a time)
  • Costa Rican Cuisine – Learn to cook like a “Tico” – two lessons  (1 ½ hr. each)
  • (3) Salsa Dance Lessons – The Latin language of Passion (1 hour each)
  • Full Body Massage (1 ½ hr.)
  • Yoga and Meditation Daily
  • Spanish Lessons Daily
  • Barra Honda Cave Exploration (Full day)
  • Guatil Ceramics Tour – Traditional Indian Artwork developed over 5,000 years ago (Full day)
  • Sustainable Coffee Tour in Hojancha (Full Day)
  • Las Pumas Animal Rescue – Puma Sanctuary & Corobici River raft tour ( Full day with lunch)
  • Wing Nut Canopy Tour, Sea Kayaking / Snorkeling Combo (Full day)
  • Sport Fishing (1/2 OR full day– max 5 persons)
  • Arenal V0lcano & Baldi Hot Springs Tour (Full day)
  • Spa treatments (1/2 day) – list of treatments available on request

In addition to the above activities, you may choose to participate in any of the following:

  • Projecto Ninos – Helping Schools (Volunteer or Donate)
  • Schools of Nosara: Turning Hope Into Reality (Volunteer or Donate)

(NOTE:  Some excursions may depend on weather, season or availability (min/max tour size.  For changes or additional activities after booking, your Safari Surf Vacations planner at Casa Tucan will be delighted to help you!)

The Basics:

  • Free airport transfer from San Jose (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) via shuttle taxi to Nosara and back (round trip) Note: if you prefer to fly on one of the local commuter flights, we can arrange this for you but there may be an additional charge
  • Lodging at your choice of accommodations(all hotel taxes are inclusive)
  • Welcome dinner and farewell dinner at the Casa Tucan Restaurant (includes 3 beers or 2 glasses of wine with meals – all taxes and tips included – full menu access)
  • Daily breakfast at the Casa Tucan restaurant (all taxes and tips included)
